Magyar

By Nullus

My Reading:

I’ve seen you from the distance and longed for your embrace.
You fill my heart with hope and desire.
My love for you was etched in my genes.
My need draws me to your fire.

Your soul bears the scars of a thousand years of struggle.
Yet you remained strong, valiant and true.
You’ve taught me to accept sacrifice.
As I learn to find a way to you.

Through happenstance and love my existence was conceived.
My parents reared on your beautiful culture.
A cold and foggy November morning.
They fled the grasp of the vulture.

My life defined by the world you left my family.
While I’m far, you will keep the door ajar.
It’s what it was always meant to be.
I will be your faithful Magyar.

Luminosity

By Nullus

My Reading:

Sons and daughters of the light!
Time is coming to an end.
Shadows dancing,
On barren graves,
In the darkness of the night.

We were meant to guide the world!
Share truth and justice with care.
The engine broke,
The wheels spun out,
And our grandiose dreams swirled.

Dreams replaced with decadence!
Luminosity no more.
Brothers cower,
Sisters are bare,
As Satan begins to dance.

Our story isn’t complete!
Men and women will remain.
Faith in their hearts,
Triumph restored,
Divine providence we greet.

Hyenas

By Nullus

My Reading:

You yearn to be wolves!
Dominant alphas.
Roaming your borderland.
True comradery.
Never alone.

You’re all hyenas!
Scavenging for scraps.
Laughing at each other.
Following the pack.
Yet often alone.

You’ve become gluttons!
Growling and leering.
Sniffing the rotting corpse.
Constantly hungry.
Without a true soul.

You live like sloths!
Sluggish and passive.
Lethargically crawling.
Bashfully timid.
And always alone.

You’ve been housebroken!
Gnawing and begging.
Pursuing affection.
Always submissive.
And always a drone.

Eagles and Lions!
Racing through your veins.
Reclaim your legacy!
This is your birthright!
Nothing to atone!

You’re all dogs of war!
Triumphant and bold.
Rip off that bloody yoke!
Solitary road.
You’re never alone!

God of Liberty

By Nullus

My Reading:

You can choose and never decide.
You can scream, but never speak.
I am your god of liberty, your lord of freedom,
I want you to remain timid and meek.

Tell me little one what do you see?
You’ll never get what you crave.
I am your god of liberty, your lord of freedom,
Stop sniveling or I’ll make you behave.

Yes!  Everything is possible!
Resist! Your enemy mute!
I am your god of liberty, your lord of freedom,
I will banish the stoic absolute.

Spread out! This is your divine right!
Make others obey my will!
I am your god of liberty, your lord of freedom,
You are surrounded by those who will kill.

Tell me little one what do you see?
Your mind is moldable clay.
I am your god of liberty, your lord of freedom,
Emptiness is surrounding your decay.

Deep

By Nullus

My Reading:

Head revolving to and fro,
Sinking feeling cannot sleep.
One knows not who’s friend or foe,
This subversion running deep.

The signaling penetrates,
Finding rocks along the creek.
The new message confuses,
This subversion running deep.

Heroic deeds are listed . . .
Spoon-fed to ignorant sheep.
Deconstructed and twisted.
This subversion running deep.

Get your head out of the sand,
Think for yourself! No more sleep!
Open your mind! Hand in hand!
Evil subversion never keep.

Awaken

By Nullus

My Reading:

From slumber the mind races with energy,
What was once old is new found synergy.
Echoes of the past reverberate and sway,
We must awaken! Not yesterday, but today!

What we are is a collection of cultures.
Which are destined to rest on burnt pastures.
Unless we awaken and find our old way,
To be who we were meant to be without delay.

Hordes storm our gates and snakes slither in our yards,
Corrupting our children with destructive canards.
Stand upright my brother and never dismay.
We need to awaken together I say!

A World Without Consequences

By Nullus

My Reading:

Old habits like repetition,
Nothing will ever change,
Sometimes we lose,
Sometimes we win,
In a world without consequences,
Nothing is ever a sin.

Our mothers warned us against it,
But we just shrugged it off,
We had some laughs,
We had some fun,
In a world without consequences,
Compassionate for no one.

Then we watched others around us,
Who were doing the same,
Some were better,
Others much worse,
In a world without consequences,
This life felt like a bad curse.

Politicians always corrupt,
Telling lie after lie.
No side is true.
Work hard you fool!
In a world without consequences,
They all went to the same school.

Brainwashed minions screeching quite loud,
Claiming that we’re evil,
It’s all reversed!
Nothing is true!
In a world without consequences,
Breaking the final taboo.

Personal vices weren’t enough,
This vile beast craved more,
He was famished!
Fearsome cabal!
In a world without consequences,
Lucifer wanted it all.

The Man Who Knew Too Much (Too Little)

By Nullus

My Reading:

A brightly lit room,
Flickering screen,
Books on the shelf,
Coffee with cream.
In a small country not too far away,
The sun rose and set as it does every day.

A man lived alone,
Always agrees,
His life was good,
Relative ease.
Pleasures abound in his tiny country.
What care did he have? There was always plenty.

As the years went by,
Everything changed,
The man grew old,
And he felt caged.
Drinking his coffee and cursing his youth,
He started to read and discovered the truth.

It was straightforward,
Simple and true,
Logically sound,
Instinctive too.
The world he knew was explicitly dead,
Looking out his window confirmed what he read.

Action was needed,
He was one man.
What could he do?
He made a plan.
He closed all his doors and he stepped outside,
A few moments later his fears would subside.

The plan was simple,
Nothing too grim,
Simple placard,
All on a whim.
Hastily written with no time to waste,
Simple words that read: I will not be replaced!

That fateful morning,
A group walked by,
Blocking the path,
They occupy.
Hysteria, hatred filling their veins,
Their leader is haughty, derides and complains.

This world is different,
You don’t belong,
We’ll call the cops,
And you will be strung!
Realizing that it was far too late,
The world he remembered was just a dreamscape.

The police arrive,
See the placard,
Look at the man.
Where is your card?
These words are forbidden by the great hive,
Sir, you have violated rule 45!

In a dimly lit room,
Nothing the same,
Sitting alone,
Legs to a chain.
In a small country not too far away,
A man sits alone awaiting his last day.

To the Children Who Never Were

By Nullus

Poem with music by Peter Siroki

My Reading:

I speak of this monstrosity,
That cowers in the night,
A ghost of pure insanity,
Creatures of utter fright.

They gave us gifts of nothingness,
They hollowed out our souls,
We did not notice the illness,
We gave up all controls.

We lived life only for pleasure,
Seeking money and fame,
Chasing the pursuit of leisure,
The tribe achieved its aim.

It’s our responsibility,
To bear your precious lives,
To raise you in a family,
For husbands to have wives.

Instead we bowed to cowardice,
Submissive humble slaves,
They want us to be powerless,
They wait to dig our graves.

Alone in a realm of strangers,
No fathers, no mothers,
Always surrounded by dangers,
No sisters and brothers.

To the children who never were,
Europa is assailed,
And nowhere will we find succor,
Dear children we have failed.

We left you waiting in heaven,
We never called your name,
I weep for your dispossession,
And curse our dreaded shame.

I plead for your forgiveness now,
But that should never come,
There is no oath, no solemn vow,
We have become undone.

Kaleidoscope

By Nullus

My Reading:

Rays of light beam through the glass,
Renewal relieves a nightmare past,
Droplets of fear turn to hope,
The world is a great kaleidoscope.

Glimmering light throws a shade,
This is not the world our fathers made,
Overcome, the body slopes,
Hell envelops the kaleidoscope.

Close the eyes, ignore the scorn,
Renewal will elude the next morn,
Be warned, this is not a trope,
It’s time to clean the kaleidoscope.
