Old habits like repetition, Nothing will ever change, Sometimes we lose, Sometimes we win, In a world without consequences, Nothing is ever a sin. Our mothers warned us against it, But we just shrugged it off, We had some laughs, We had some fun, In a world without consequences, Compassionate for no one. Then we watched others around us, Who were doing the same, Some were better, Others much worse, In a world without consequences, This life felt like a bad curse. Politicians always corrupt, Telling lie after lie. No side is true. Work hard you fool! In a world without consequences, They all went to the same school. Brainwashed minions screeching quite loud, Claiming that we’re evil, It’s all reversed! Nothing is true! In a world without consequences, Breaking the final taboo. Personal vices weren’t enough, This vile beast craved more, He was famished! Fearsome cabal! In a world without consequences, Lucifer wanted it all. © Nullus 2019
