From slumber the mind races with energy, What was once old is new found synergy. Echoes of the past reverberate and sway, We must awaken! Not yesterday, but today! What we are is a collection of cultures. Which are destined to rest on burnt pastures. Unless we awaken and find our old way, To be who we were meant to be without delay. Hordes storm our gates and snakes slither in our yards, Corrupting our children with destructive canards. Stand upright my brother and never dismay. We need to awaken together I say! © Nullus 2019
