Bend the Knee

By Nullus

My Reading:

An amalgamation of wandering ethnicity,
Arriving on the shores of your beloved native soil,
Covetous aliens demand prompt inclusivity,
As the element of your essence begins to recoil.

Caricatures of extraordinary chronicles,
Bizarre concoctions created to replace your decay,
Pretentious conceits designed to change every particle,
On day zero, the aura of your past is wiped away.

Stolen images replaced with vulgar imitations,
Standing in shock while your sons and daughters applaud and cheer,
Their very presence always testing your limitations,
Frenzied crowds of interlopers scream: “We were always here!”

Contrived assumptions that register false reality,
Illusions created by a deconstructive merchant,
You and all your kindred are expected to bend the knee,
Zealously demanding that you bow before the serpent.

Crowds kneel before a malevolent humiliation,
These savages take your spirit while gloating in your face,
The serpent won't rest until it has your full submission,
Traitorous zealots seeking to eradicate your grace.

An amalgamation of wandering ethnicity,
Threatens the existence of your family and your clan,
Covetous aliens demand prompt inclusivity,
Resolute righteous convictions will kneel before no man.

The Legend of Dangdo Derndo

by Nullus – My contribution to the White Art Collective Challenge

My Reading:

This cowboy once lived if the legends are true,
He slept under a sky astoundingly blue.
The prairie was vast to cover his great shame.
The townsfolk would mock him and gave him a name.

This cowboy was young, barely twenty and two.
His horse was a brown pinto named Rendezvous.
He was quiet and shy, but his heart was strong,
When he rode into town he would hear this song.

Dangdo Derndo if you dare,
Come on in and grab a chair.
Dangdo Derndo in the room,
Plucking away on a broom.
Dangdo Derndo upside down,
It will make you lose a frown.
Dangdo Derndo all night long.
Come on boy just string along.

The girl’s name was Lilly, she wore a red dress,
Her father had worked for the pony express.
Her deep blue eyes sparkled in the morning light,
She was a big girl with a large appetite.

The cowboy had seen her work at the saloon.
She was feisty and loud and used a spittoon.
To impress her, the cowboy grabbed a big broom.
Played it like a guitar and filled the whole room.

Dangdo Derndo if you dare,
Come on in and grab a chair.
Dangdo Derndo in the room,
Plucking away on a broom.
Dangdo Derndo upside down,
It will make you lose a frown.
Dangdo Derndo all night long.
Come on boy just string along.

The cowboy can’t sing, but he tried really hard.
He pranced around the room like some fancy bard.
The broom made no sound, but that didn’t matter.
Wherever he turned the people would scatter.

The cowboy jumped onto a big chandelier.
Lilly was laughing as she was serving beer.
The cowboy flipped over to throw her a kiss.
The ceiling had cracked and it sounded like this.

Dangdo Derndo if you dare,
Come on in and grab a chair.
Dangdo Derndo in the room,
Plucking away on a broom.
Dangdo Derndo upside down,
It will make you lose a frown.
Dangdo Derndo all night long.
Come on boy just string along.

The cowboy had landed into the spittoon.
Tobacco was flying all over the room.
Lilly was covered in soft stinky drool.
The cowboy ran away and felt like a fool.

The moral of the story for those still here.
Never play a broom on a big chandelier.
When loving a woman you always take heed.
Avoid a big spittoon before you proceed.

Circles of Hell

by Nullus

My Reading:

Overexposed negatives with nothing left to mystery,
Carving a relief from a multi-colored cameo shell,
All these vacuous souls living their lives vicariously,
As Dante invites us to witness the nine circles of Hell.

Diminishing echoes in grand cathedrals, tiny churches,
The eons pass, yet His words retain their sacred pertinence,
Men wandering in Limbo resulting in fruitless searches,
These mortal sins escalate from ignorance to arrogance.

Sweaty wrists slowly glide along a neoprene canopy,
Bloodshot eyes gawking at a screen of stretched out screaming harlots,
Stark alienation exemplifies the solitary,
Cleopatra and Dido become pornographic starlets.

Endless aisles of sustenance overwhelming dulled senses,
Artificial scrapings rotting in a refrigerator,
A post-modern Cornucopia without consequences,
The gluttony of the lowest common denominator.

Among all sins to perceive as common human deficiency,
Simple hoggish traits that have often corrupted the virtuous,
Stubby sticky fingers taking everything without mercy,
Self serving petty desires that serve no higher purpose.

Injustice, inequity and a million grievances,
Demoralizing passions transforming the benevolent,
Empathy carries over, falling into many pieces,
Lost in blind fury and their purpose become irrelevant.

Equivocal declarations bewildering the faithful,
Common circus performers dancing on a holy altar,
Acquiesce to a narration inviting the disgraceful,
By placating the devil even the anointed falter.

Strike to shatter bone and glass, fateful collars of self pity,
Defiling the basilica of God’s sacred creation,
Financiers who willfully bankrupt every town and city,
Tragically lost figures of a misguided false persuasion.

Simulating grace, representing numinous causes,
Sorcerers of legislation, barrators paid to deceive,
False prophets spinning hatred with extravagant promises,
Liars, seducers, plagiarists deserve flames upon their feet.

Those wretches who abandon brothers and nationality,
Destroying the innocent for moments of celebrity,
All conniving, scheming murderers deserve no sympathy,
Retribution comes in the form of bitter reality.

Molten core flows from the darkest depths of this horrific space,
In this province there is not a single hymn, nor homily,
A three headed beast devours those who have defiled grace,
Distorted clowns howl in the heart of this Divine Comedy.

Sun In Time

By Nullus

‘Thunder and Light’ by Amalec (Ft. ‘Sun In Time’ by Nullus)

My Reading:

Everyman, this slumber is emptiness.
Arise! Stand by your kinsman’s side!
Everyman, alone in the wilderness,
March now! Hoist your banner with pride!

Word is out for all men to assemble,
It’s time for you to heed the call!
The rhythm of this beat makes them tremble,
Vanquish these beasts once and for all!

Grind your great axes and sharpen your swords!
This fight may be our final stand,
Let it be known as history records,
We lived as honor would demand!

Besieging our homelands on every shore,
Scores of beasts brutal and cunning,
Inhumanity defining their core,
As their masters hands are rubbing.

No appeasement, settlement, or accord,
Submission carries certain death,
Fight until the old order is restored,
Charging at them with your last breath,

Glory for those in our fraternity,
This sacred calling is sublime,
Our great nations stand in unity,
As dawn proceeds the sun in time!

My poem was inspired by an exquisite piece composed by the talented artist Amalec, titled ‘Sun In Time”

In return I was honored to receive this powerful musical rendition of my poem by Amelec titled, ‘Thunder and Light’ – The video above is the result of this special collaboration.

ForNull created a intense interpretation of my poem with the title, ‘War for the West’

You Were Never There

By Nullus

My Reading:

Along the shores of Attica,
Athenian men ready to die,
Three hundred Spartan warriors,
Held the line at the narrows of Thermopylae.
Yet here you stand without a care,
Because you were never there!

Through treacherous alpine passes,
Trudged Hannibal’s sturdy elephants,
Battle of civilizations,
Scipio’s campaign of incredible persistence,
What do you have to compare?
Because you were never there!

On the Catalaunian Fields,
Great warriors of the East and West,
Where the steppes and mountains collide,
Attila and Aetius! The ultimate contest .
In your fear you could only stare,
Because you were never there!

Charles, the great hammer of Tours,
Glorious knights assemblage complete,
Vile invaders pillage and rape,
Martel strikes down, as star and crescent begin to weep,
These villains never had a prayer,
Don’t lie! You were never there!

 Northern crowns unite to dispatch,
Heroic men assemble the best,
Charged to vanquish the invader,
Great deeds of El Campeador and the reconquest.
Playing both sides as you prepare,
Scurrying like frightened hare.

 Eons of war and sacrifice,
Sibling conflict bred resilience,
Lives marked by strife and atonement,
And now you want us all to fight at your convenience?
Sorting out your selfish affair,
And once again you’re never there!

The Vanishing Generation

By Nullus

‘The Vanishing Generation’ by SYNTHICIDE (ft. Nullus & ForNull)

My Reading:

A family sits in harmony,
Capturing the love of each other,
To preserve a moment in history,
Father, mother, sister, brother.

Bright flashes become a memory,
Proudly framed in gold and silver rope,
Strong wires complete the accessory,
A steel nail secures this clan’s hope.

As years progress narrative changing,
This picture starts to sag on the wall,
The nail loosens as the walls are crumbling,
And the portrait begins to fall.

Collecting dust the image broken,
Shards of glass over yellow edges,
Symbolizing an impending omen,
Of shattered family pledges.

A new coat of paint colors the wall,
Enveloping these aged silhouettes,
Apathetic greed forces this withdrawal,
Fleeting familial vignettes.

Unsustainable composition,
False inequitable privileges,
Their world is beyond recognition,
Contemporary images.

It shackles and debilitates,
Subterfuge and miscegenation,
This cruel destiny inaugurates,
The vanishing generation.

Sky-Way of the Warriors

By Nullus

My Reading:

Spectacular vision,
Gone before it starts,
Time of great division,
The great Prince departs.

There’s none to replace,
Proud lineage,
They arrive to deface,
This unclaimed vestige.

Profound inspiration,
Halls to decorate,
Eons of tradition,
They appropriate.

Deriding all resolve,
Shady and corrupt,
Sacred customs dissolve,
Meant to deconstruct.

Insulting the heavens,
Arrogantly proud,
Lasting only seconds,
A shattering sound.

Galaxies awaken,
On their starry steeds,
Warriors unshaken,
Thundering stampedes.

Wielding his cosmic blade,
The great Prince arrives,
Banishing this charade,
The enemy dies.

Strands

By Nullus

‘Strands’ by Nullus, featuring ‘Banger’ by Ghost of Centralia

Topic of choice,
The latest fad,
The loudest voice,
Some crazy ad,
Everything’s fake,
These hollow styles,
Strands along a lake,
Walks aimlessly for miles.

Day of the fools,
Thinking they’re big,
They are just tools,
Nourish the pig,
Every demand,
New covenant,
Pathetically strand,
Sprawling out impotent.

March to their tune,
Follow the cult,
Join their commune,
Final insult,
Forcing entrance,
Body unwhole,
Strands of repentance,
Woven into their soul.

Illegitimate

By Nullus

Music: ‘The Persecution’ by Volk Dissident

My Reading:

A subtle embrace ebbs and flows,
Scatters shadows against the wall,
Forgotten words, lyrical prose,
Ancient sagas penned to enthrall.

Impaired by years of disregard,
Through disorienting voices,
Savage wailing has drowned the bard,
As they limit all the choices.

Like bodies twisted in a crash,
Ideas and thoughts are inverted,
Inept golems dancing on ash,
Ancient elegance converted.

The venom rabidly foaming,
Unnerved it strikes the delicate,
And thus this destructive changeling,
Has remained illegitimate.

In this vacuum a simple sound,
Hope that dare not aggregate,
Abandoned souls crave the profound,
By a hollowed out tree they congregate.

Robust lungs and deep melodies,
Creativity awaken,
With renewed verses and stories,
Devastating the forsaken.

Try as it might to castigate,
These golem notions are petty,
Their every bid to instigate,
Has become fragile and empty.

False elites and prophets cheating,
Faulty memories to transcend,
Never acknowledge their meaning,
Their time is coming to an end.

I

By Nullus

My Reading:

I am!
You are not!
This is a scam!
Get off of my spot!
I’ve had about enough!
This is going to end now!
We’re taking back all of our stuff!
When we’re done you will tremble and bow!
When we’re done you will all tremble and bow!

You are!
I am not!
Took this too far!
Now it’s time to stop!
Perverting our goodwill!
From now on I set the tone!
You will prepare to remain still!
When inviting you into my home!
When I invite you into my home!
